Health: Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm-negative

Sterling was removed from a hoarding case, and much of the world is still new to him. Despite his past, Sterling has a kind, tender heart and is learning every day what it means to feel safe and cared for. With time, patience, and love, he is slowly beginning to trust and show his gentle personality.

Sterling is still shy and learning how to play with other dogs, but he continues to make steady progress. New situations can feel overwhelming, yet he approaches them with quiet curiosity and bravery.

He may be nervous at first when meeting new people, but underneath that uncertainty is a very sweet, affectionate boy. Sterling has not been cat tested.

Sterling rides well in the car and does great for grooming and vet visits. He is still learning basic leash skills and discovering how to confidently explore the world around him. Each day, he takes small but meaningful steps forward.

Sterling would do best in a patient, understanding home that will allow him to continue growing at his own pace. A calm environment and gentle encouragement will help him build confidence and blossom into the loving companion he’s meant to be.
