Age: Approximately 3 years old

Breed: Catahoula Mix

Rescue Status: In rescue since June 2025

Health: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm-negative, and microchipped

Weight: Around 30 pounds

Pudding was abandoned by her previous owners when they moved, but this resilient girl has not let her past dim her spirit. She’s gentle, loving, and so ready to feel secure with a family who will cherish her. With her stunning markings and sweet soul, Pudding is hoping her turn for a forever home is finally here.

Pudding is a wonderful companion for other dogs. She plays daily with dogs at daycare and does great sharing beds, toys, and space with her canine pals. She’s played with dogs of all sizes—big and small—and she’s previously lived with little dogs as well. She’s been friendly with males, females, seniors, and puppies alike.

She has not yet been cat-tested.

With people, Pudding can be just a tiny bit shy when first meeting someone new, but her tail doesn’t take long to start wagging. Once she warms up, she’s incredibly sweet and happy to make new friends.

She rides well in the car, does nicely at the vet, and is well-behaved for baths and nail trims. The only thing she isn’t a fan of is being picked up—but that doesn’t stop her from loving pets, attention, and playtime!

Pudding would thrive in a home that can give her patience during introductions and plenty of affection once she settles in. A dog companion would make her very happy, but she’d also do great with a loving human family who enjoys snuggles, play, and companionship.
