Age: Approximately 2 years old

Breed: Lab Mix

Rescue Status: In rescue since May 2023

Health: Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative

Weight: Around 52 lbs

Happy was found abandoned on a farm with her mother and six littermates while still nursing. Despite her rough start, she’s blossomed into a sweet, adaptable companion!

Happy thrives in groups! She plays daily at daycare with dogs of all sizes—from Beagles to Great Danes. She shares toys, food, and space politely. She has played in mixed groups of males, females, puppies, and seniors.

Happy passed initial cat testing, but would benefit from gradual introductions or a patient feline sibling.

She takes some time to warm up to new people and environments, but once comfortable, she’s calm and curious. She rides well in cars, handles vet visits like a pro, and tolerates baths and nail trims with ease. She is very food motivated and will work hard for snacks!
