Health: Spayed, recovering from Demodex

Deirdre came into rescue as an owner surrender through no fault of her own. She’s currently recovering from Demodex and is making steady progress with treatment. Through all the changes, Deirdre has remained a sweet, calm girl who is learning what it means to feel safe and secure again.

Deirdre plays well with dogs of all sizes, both male and female, and does best with calm, gentle canine companions. She enjoys peaceful interactions and is content simply sharing space with her dog friends.

She has not been cat tested.

Deirdre is wonderful with kids and strangers and has a friendly, easygoing demeanor. She does great at the vet and is improving with potty training as she settles into a routine. She rides in the car best when crated or safely buckled, helping her feel more secure. While she seems a bit scared of baths and water, she does fairly well for most grooming needs and continues to build confidence.

Deirdre is ready for a peaceful forever home that can offer her gentle guidance, consistency, and love while she continues to heal and gain confidence.
