🐾 Meet Deedee! Age: Approximately 2 years old Breed: Rat Terrier Mix Rescue Status: In rescue since September 2024 Health: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm-negative, and microchipped Weight: Around 23 pounds Deedee’s journey began when she was abandoned on a farm with her companion, Dexter. After a challenging rescue, this sweet-natured pup is ready for a lifetime of love and belly rubs!

Deedee thrives in groups of 10+ dogs (her size or larger) and adapts seamlessly to pups of all ages and energy levels. She shares toys, treats, and beds well. She has not yet been tested with cats, so she would benefit from patient, supervised bonding in her forever home. She is initially shy and vocal with strangers, but once she trusts you, she’s a snuggle superstar—belly rubs and lap time are her love language!

She rides calmly in cars, handles vet visits with ease, and tolerates baths and nail trims like a pro. Deedee forms deep bonds with her humans and rewards patience with unwavering loyalty. She is looking for a calm, nurturing family ready to give her time to bloom.
