Butter came into rescue through no fault of his own after his owner lost their housing. Despite the sudden change, Butter has remained a happy, affectionate boy who loves being around people and is ready to start his next chapter with a forever family.

Butter is a fun, playful dog who thrives in social settings. He does well playing in group environments at daycare and has happily interacted with dogs of all sizes—from Beagle-sized friends to Great Danes—as well as males, females, puppies, and seniors. He especially enjoys active playmates. While he generally does great with other dogs, he may occasionally butt heads with unaltered males.

Butter has not been cat tested.

Butter loves meeting new people and has done well with children. He rides nicely in the car, does great at the vet, and handles baths and nail trims like a champ. Butter is an easygoing, adaptable companion who would do well in just about any home. Whether your lifestyle is laid-back or active, Butter is happy to match your energy as long as he gets love, playtime, and companionship.
