Rescue Status: In rescue since July 2025

Health: Neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm-negative, and microchipped

Weight: Around 75 pounds

Buddha’s story:

Buddy Love was found abandoned at a local park. He looked very lost, lonely, and scared. Fortunately, a very kind family found Buddy and brought him home to help give him some TLC and help to find him a home—after almost a year of love and care in this home rehabilitating and getting Buddy ready for his perfect home... Buddy is finally ready!

Buddy Love has done well with dogs of all sizes as well as cats. He typically likes to spend his time with dogs that match his laid back style. He does well with children but would be better with older children. He loves to meet new people and is generally ready to kick back and relax together.

Buddy loves his crate and bed and really feels relaxed when he can go to his own private and quiet space. We often find Buddy Love relaxing in his open crate when he wants some "me" time. He would love a fenced in yard where he can spend his time sniffing and sun-bathing.

He does NOT like a car-ride and is looking for a home where he is not expected to go on trips out and can stay in his space that he is comfortable with. He is truly just a buddy through and through are you ready for your perfect buddy?
