🐾 Meet Buddha! Age: Approximately 4 years old Breed: American Bulldog Mix Rescue Status: In rescue since January 2025 Health: Neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm-negative, and microchipped; has a mild heart murmur (monitored by our vet, no current concerns.) Weight: Around 65 pounds Buddha’s story is one of resilience—abandoned and surviving alone for weeks before being safely live-trapped. Now, this gentle giant is learning to trust and ready to share his loyal heart with a forever family!

He is making great strides with other dogs and plays well with 1-2 calm, mature dogs (30+ lbs). While still adjusting to group settings, he shows promising social skills with males and females. Not yet tested with cats or small dogs. He is cautious with new people at first, but warms up quickly with patience and kindness.

Buddha loves fetch, knows "sit," and rewards trust with hugs. He handles car rides, vet visits, baths, and nail trims well, though he’s still gaining experience. Once bonded, he’ll shower you with affection.

Buddha is looking for a patient, loving family ready to support and encourage his growing confidence. His trust is earned, but worth the wait!
